# OfferDaemon > OfferDaemon is affiliate network software for affiliate networks, brands operating their own affiliate programs, performance agencies, and teams moving partner operations out of spreadsheets. It connects offer management, publisher access, click routing, conversion attribution and review, reporting, commission calculation, and payout records in one workflow from click to payout. OfferDaemon is a web-based affiliate network management platform with two connected parts: a dashboard where teams manage the network and a redirect engine optimized for processing tracking-link clicks. Each company is an isolated network environment with its own users, offers, settings, reports, domains, conversions, and payment workflows. The normal lifecycle is: an Admin creates an Offer; a Publisher receives a Tracking Link; the redirect engine records a click, assigns a unique Click ID, and sends the visitor to the advertiser; the advertiser reports a result through an S2S postback; OfferDaemon connects the result to the original click, Offer, and Publisher; the Admin reviews the Conversion; and eligible approved earnings can be grouped into a Payment record. Core product capabilities include Offer and Advertiser record management, Publisher onboarding and access control, tracking links and URL macros, multiple landing pages, GEO targeting, conversion caps, fallback destinations, Smartlinks and rule-based traffic routing, advertiser S2S postbacks, Publisher postback notifications, Click ID attribution, transaction deduplication, conversion review, Publisher-specific payout adjustments, Merchant and referral commissions, reports and CSV exports, payment requests, custom branding and domains, role-scoped API access, support tickets, and operational logs. Product terminology and boundaries: - An Offer is a campaign promoted by Publishers for a target action such as a lead, sale, signup, install, deposit, recurring payment, or another configured event. - A Publisher promotes Offers and earns a payout for eligible conversions. A Merchant manages assigned Publishers and can earn a separate commission. An Admin operates the network. "Partner" is an umbrella term for non-admin users. - An Advertiser is currently a business record managed by an Admin and associated with Offers; it is not a dashboard user role. - A Tracking Link identifies the Offer and Publisher. The redirect engine assigns a Click ID and can capture location, device, browser, operating system, time, and publisher-supplied sub-parameters. - Advertisers normally return the Click ID as `click_id` or `cid` in an S2S postback. An advertiser transaction ID can be supplied as `tx_id` or `txid` to help detect repeated events. - Conversion Status answers whether a result is Pending, Approved, or Rejected. Settlement Status separately answers whether the related earning is Unsettled, Locked in an active Payment, or Settled. - A single Publisher conversion can create separate Merchant and referral earnings when those relationships are configured. Each beneficiary has an independent payment lifecycle. - OfferDaemon calculates eligible earnings and maintains Payment records, approvals, status history, fees, notes, and links to the underlying conversions. It does not automatically transmit money; the network sends funds through its chosen bank, wallet, cryptocurrency, or other payment provider and records the outcome in OfferDaemon. - Smartlinks use ordered routing rules to send traffic among eligible destination Offers based on conditions such as country, device, operating system, browser, and time. Caps and fallback URLs help keep traffic moving when a destination is unavailable. - The default service uses an OfferDaemon-hosted redirect engine. A private redirect engine, deployed and maintained by the customer on its own server, is available as a paid option for networks needing a dedicated IP, region, or infrastructure control. - Subscription plans are based primarily on monthly conversion volume rather than click, Offer, or Publisher counts. Current prices, limits, retention periods, support levels, API permissions, and commercial terms must be verified on the live pricing and terms pages. ## Product overview - [OfferDaemon home](https://offerdaemon.com/): Product positioning, key capabilities, architecture, security, current pricing, Kickstart launch program, and contact form. -
